About Tim:
I'm originally from Pasadena, but San Diego stole my heart when I moved there for college. I earned my degree in photography and graphics from SDSU. People are my favorite subjects, which is why I fell in love with wedding photography. There’s something magical about documenting day full of love, laughter, and packed dance floors. With over 500 weddings under my belt, I’ve seen it all and it's an honor to capturing all the amazing moments.
I love dogs, deep sea fishing, The Padres, cooking, ultimate foodie, music, coffee, discovering new taco shops, sushi, landscape photography, road trips and traveling to exotic locations... of course with my camera.

My name is Tim Otto and and I photograph San Diego weddings, engagement sessions and portraits. I also photograph a few destination weddings each year. I am fortunate to find my passion in life and I put my heart and soul into my photographs. I specialize in capturing moments, emotions and the relationships with family and friends. I want to create photographs that will be more beautiful than you dreamed they would be. I travel throughout Southern California to photograph events, and Orange

Engagement Wedding Photographer
Engagement sessions are typically scheduled 4-8 months before the
wedding date and are a great opportunity for us to work together before
the wedding. A session usually lasts from 1-3 hours. We will visit a couple
of locations that are meaningful to you, or I have some favorite places I
can recommend. Engagement portraits are usually informal, but
oftentimes clients will bring a couple different outfits to create different
looks, both casual and dressy. Some of my favorite locations are:
Windansea Beach in La Jolla, La Jolla Cove, Balboa Park, Little Italy,
Coronado Centennial Park, Downtown Gaslamp, Del Mar Beach.
Portrait Wedding Photographer
I enjoy documenting every stage of my clients’ lives, from the engagement
portrait to the wedding album to when they start their own families. All of
my wedding couples automatically become part of our lifetime portrait
program, which includes no-session fees for all portraits in the future.
These could include Maternity Photos, Newborn Photos, Holiday
Family Portraits or a 3-Generation Portrait for display in your home. I
specialize in creating custom artwork and firmly believe that photographs
do not belong on flash drives or computers but in albums and on living
room walls. I want to create heirloom art pieces that will be treasured and
pass down through generations of your family.
